A true highlight of the menu is the El Mero Mero Platter, a hefty serving that includes golden taquitos, sopes, gorditas, and nachos—perfect for food lovers who want to sample a bit of everything. Customers rave about the Menudo, noting its consistent quality and the culinary nostalgia evoked by the hand-made tortillas.
One delicious dish that caught my attention was the Torta De Chilaquiles—a creative spin that brings together savory breaded beef and sautéed tortilla strips enveloped in rich red or green salsa. The balance of flavors is expertly crafted, and the freshness shines through with each bite. I have to agree with customer reviews that mention the “stunning” chilaquiles, which are simply a must-try!
Carnivores will rejoice over selections like the Carne Asada and Bistek a La Mexican, both oozing with flavor and accompanied by hearty sides. Vegetarian options might be limited, yet dishes like the Mexican Gorditas and Huraches offer satisfying alternatives for those seeking a plant-based delight.
The charming staff members deserve a mention as well. Guests describe the service as friendly, attentive, and full of enthusiasm for the delicious food they serve, contributing to an overall sense of community in this petite spot.

Their Menudo is always consistently good. My go to for those days when you're craving hand made tortillas and good Menudo.

Evey plate of food I have ordered has been nothing but great and taste amazing, the ladies that work there are very nice and helpful.

Food was tasty, must try the chilaquiles. Freshly made to order. Small humble location, kids high chairs available, restroom was clean, and parking space in the back and front of restaurant. Indoor and outdoor seating available, staff were super friendly, will return soon.

We came for my husband's childhood memories here to get the Torta. I also got the chile Riano. It was huge & home made .... Came with homemade corn tortillas. My food was hot & steaming. The torta was ok, wasn't really hot & they could have put more beans & avocado on it . We will definitely be back for homemade chili Riano's..

I was in the area and it was lunch time so I walked into this very small business and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a chicken taco and a carne asada sope w/ everything. The taco was decent but the sope was absolutely delicious!! I would definitely go back for another sope. I'm glad I spent my money at this restaurant.

Worth every bite! Definitely taste like home made food! Was blown away. Clean, didn't use restroom. Not sure if one was available. Give this local restaurant a chance!

Awesome and delicious definitely recommend and price is $19 with horchata. Overall simple dive location but totally worth it
